Oxfringe Trustees

Sara Banerji

Sara is the daughter of Sir Basil Mostyn, of Talacre, Flintshire, N. Wales. She is a  celebrated author of eleven published novels and her most recent novels, The Africa Trap and Tikkipala, are published on Kindle.arper CilC She won the Arts Council of England award, The Authors’ Foundation award, the Write Out Loud award, was long-listed for the Booker Prize and one of her books was nominated for the IMPAC award. Sara teaches creative writing at Oxford University’s Department of Continuing Education. She and her students put on several public literary events at Oxfringe each year and together have created several collections of stories, the most recent being two books of short stories set in and around Oxford.

John Bradford

John is a seasoned theatre technician with over 20 years experience with amateur drama companies around Oxfordshire.  He has supported the Oxfordshire Drama Network Festival and a biennial operatic music festival in Tuscany many years and has helped to deliver drama for Oxfringe since 2008.  By day, he is an electrical engineer.

Sarah Jones

Sarah is Oxfringe’s Director and has been involved in Oxfringe almost continuously since its inception as a multi-genre festival in 2008   She is an experienced project manager and teacher.

Geraldine McTier

Geraldine is a partner in the legal practice Slade Legal.  She is a keen participant in drama and deputy chair of the Abingdon Drama Club.

Mike Ward

Mike is a freelance professional theatre technician and has worked for Chickenshed, Shunt, The Gate, The Young Vic and fringe projects in London and Edinburgh. For Oxfringe he has been a venue manager and technician for the past three years. He is the graphic/web designer for Abingdon Arts Festival, for which he also organises events and sits on the committee.  He is the current Chair of the Abingdon Drama Club.

Emily Winfield

Emily is the Creative Producer at Pegasus Theatre, Oxford, assisting in programming the professional performances and events.  She supports the Creative Learning Team with the courses, workshops and outreach and was recently involved in producing Pegasus’ first successful Christmas show with Gonzo Moose.  She supports emerging artists from Oxford and further afield, as well as the newly appointed resident/supported artists at Pegasus.

Mike Woodward

Mike is an opera promoter, singer and director and with his wife Vanessa founded Opera Anywhere in 2000 and tours opera productions throughout Oxfordshire and beyond. Mike is also co-founder and director of the Sunningwell Festival of Music and Art and also is a trustee of the Sunningwell School of Art.

David Ralf (co-opted)

David is the Oxford University Drama Officer for 2011/12 and is also a playwright.
